Eligibility
To be eligible for the Abertay IB30 Scholarship, you must meet all of the following conditions:
Achieve 30 or more diploma points upon graduation from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Be classified as International (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University.
Be registering as a full-time student for the first time onto an undergraduate taught programme.
Have met all academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student. This includes evidence of essential subjects at S5 or H4.
Be studying on campus at the University.
The award will contribute to each year of degree, up to a maximum of four years, while you are studying in Dundee.
Students who are admitted with advanced entry into Year 2 or above, and who meet the above conditions, will also be eligible for this award.
This is an award of up to £12,000 for prospective new international undergraduate students.
The award is £3,000 per annum, for a maximum of 4 years total study. Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.

Registered as a full-time student for your first undergraduate degree.
Have met all the academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student in September.

Students who are admitted with Advanced Entry into Level 2 or above, and who meet the above conditions, will also be eligible for this Award.
The Award will be awarded for each year of your undergraduate degree, up to a maximum of 4 years, while you are studying in Dundee. The Award will not be awarded for any year you spend studying abroad or working in industry.

Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Chevening Award is a Scholarship provided to eligible candidates looking to study a postgraduate degree in the UK. Candidates must have previous work experience in order to qualify.
Overview
Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK.
The Chevening programme was established in 1983 and has developed into a prestigious international scheme. Chevening Scholars come from 118 countries worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU), and last year the scholarships supported more than 1,900 individuals. There are over 42,000 Chevening alumni around the world who together comprise an influential and highly regarded global network.
The programme provides full or part funding for full-time courses at postgraduate level, normally a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any UK university.
Eligibility
To be eligible you must:
Be a citizen of a Chevening eligible country.
Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended.
Possess an undergraduate degree that will enable entry onto a UK postgraduate degree.
Have at least two years' work experience.
Have received an unconditional offer from one of your University choices.
This £3,000 award is open to all prospective new international taught postgraduate students who:
Are classified as International (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University.
Are applying for postgraduate study with the equivalent of a UK 2:1 Bachelors degree equivalent or better (approximately 60% and above).
Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.

This Award is not available to currently registered postgraduate students.
Please note: The International Postgraduate Abertay Scholarship may not be combined with other University Scholarships, discounts or the Scottish Saltire Scholarships. However, if you are an alumnus of Abertay, you are eligible for the Abertay Alumni Discount of 20% which will be applied after any scholarship.
This is an award of up to £32,000 for prospective new international students domiciled in and / or a National of a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) and who are interested in studying one of our full-time undergraduate programmes within the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences (SAS) or the Business School starting in September 2025. Please note, this excludes our BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing programme.
